Reflecting Silence

I've always been fascinated by how we armor ourselves. With Reflecting Silence I wanted to push my technique until the surface looked both impenetrable and fragile — to capture that specific pause, the silence that happens when the world is looking but you aren't ready to speak. I wanted to see if I could make paint feel like liquid, and in doing so reflect a little of that human duality.
