I made Unspoken to capture the feeling of carrying something you can't say out loud. I chose alcohol ink because it's one of the most unforgiving mediums I've worked with — once it touches the paper there's no taking it back. That felt like the perfect metaphor for the things we keep buried. The melting mouth sits somewhere between speech and silence.
